(SFI) Saturday Football International is a Youth Football Academy and an adult professional Football Club in Taipei. SFI youth teams U15- U18 academy’s primary purpose is to participate in Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) leagues and to develop high-level football players.
U15 Team in CTFA League
Ming-Che Chen U18 AMThe 15 year old attacking midfielder is one of the top players in the U18 team. And, he is also registered in the SFI Taiwan Division 2 adult team. Chen played in 4 league matches with the adult team in the the 2022 season. Video
We provide an opportunity for our selected academy players to be registered with in our adult team in the CTFA - Taiwan Football League Division 2. We also allow our selected U18 players to take part in the Division 2 team’s trainings.
Yu-Kai Chen - U15 DM
U15's defensive midfielder Yu-Kai Chen has the ability to get between the ball and the opponent player and halt their attack. When he takes possession of the ball, Chen sends long and accurate passes forward to initiate an attack on the opponent's goal. He is also very capable of scoring. Chen scored 3 goals this season so far, which is a great achievement for a DM, especially considering that he only joined the team in the second round of the season.
Kai-Ze Cheng ForwardSFI U15's #9 forward Kai-Ze Cheng is the second top scorer for the team this season, with a total of 10 goals scored in this season so far, he scores in crucial moments when the team needs it the most. He is tall and physically strong player. Because of his physicals strength, speed and a great talent to controlee the ball, he is hard to stop inside the box.

YOUTH LEAGUES 2022SFI registered a U12, U15 and U18 youth teams for the 2022 CTFA National Youth Leagues. After the first round, the U15 is in the second place in the league and the U18 is in the 6th place. The U11 team made it into the first 16 in the CTFA league and they're is currently competing in the Victory League. Academy

U15 Yi-Hsuan Huang Striker
With 11 goals scored in this season so far, Yi-Hsuan Huang is currently the top scorer for the team. He is a versatile player who is comfortable playing in most positions on the field. Being the Vice-Captain and the key goal scorer for the team, this talented young man could have a great future in this sport.
U18 Midfielder Leo
Korean players Lee Jeong-Cheol (Leo) had 2 assists Sunday against TCLS. Leo joined SFI's youth program 3 years ago. He is an important part of the U18 team this season, delivering a super good performance. Video
Ting-Han Ko - Winger
U15's left-footed #33 winger Ting-Han Ko plays on the left flank. Due to his speed and stamina, Ko is often running and pressing box to box. In addition to his attacking duties, he will run back to defend. Ko often plays as a fullback as well. But, if an opportunity presents itself, he won't hesitate to attack the opponent's goal with the intent to score or assist. Ting-Han Ko scored 2 goals this season so far.
Alexander Stacey turns 18
Interview with Alexander Stacey on his 18th birthday. The young wing-back joined the SFI's academy when he was 14 years old. He started playing in our adult team when he was 15. He played 2,000+ minutes with SFI in Taiwan 2nd Division Adult League. SFI is looking for a transfer or loan opportunity for talented player. Video
Location
SFI signed a contract with the Taipei City government to adopt the Bailing Sports Park stadium for 2 years. Bailing is one of the few pitches in Taipei with lights. This will allow our teams to organize training sessions and matches at night.
